Toner protection
Printer cartridges will have some padding, and their role is to absorb excess toner in the roller system that transports the paper. Users can remove it from the machine and clean it manually. A new liner is usually included in the new cartridge.
Paper feed roller
They are the transfer part of the printer, dragging the paper from the paper slot to the inside of the printer, but in this process, the oil and dust stained on the paper will also settle on the drum, and if it is not cleaned for a long time, it will lead to paper jams and paper feeding errors, which is also the most common failure of the printer. Here we can wash these deposits with alcohol-soaked cotton balls or damp cloths. In addition, there are specialized drum cleaners in some office equipment specialty stores.

Vents
Similar to the inside of a computer, many laser printers also have internal fans, which can be blocked by dust and dirt all year round. We must ensure that the air vents and fan blades are cleaned regularly to keep the air flowing inside the printer.

External cleaning
Compared to cleaning the inside, the external cleaning of the printer is generally easier and safer. The average user can use the cleaning/protective spray used to clean the interior of a car when cleaning the exterior surface of computer hardware, which can help reduce static electricity and is safer for plastic surfaces. You can spray the cleaner on a soft cloth and use it to wipe the shell of the device (be careful not to spray the spray into the inside of the machine), and at the same time, when cleaning the outside of the printer, we can also blow compressed air through the air outlet, fan channel and paper slot to remove dust and dirt.
Although the printer is not a delicate product, due to the long-term high temperature environment, regular cleaning and maintenance can effectively extend its life.
